    • GDESC:稀有的留鳥，生活於平地至中海拔森林邊緣底層、竹林、灌叢，常沿著山溝活動，也出現在水田及紅樹林中。白天藏身於灌叢間，主要在清晨及黃昏活動，非常隱密，偶爾於陰暗天出現，不太在意周遭的人類活動。前進時，腳高抬而尾羽豎起上下翹動。遇到驚嚇會迅速飛上樹；若是飛到水中，則一面游水一面翹動尾巴。雜食性，攝取蠕蟲、螺類、昆蟲、植物嫩芽及種子。
      棲地介紹：棲息於海拔700公尺以下的森林邊緣的底層、竹林、灌叢、高草、溪流岸邊低地，也生活在稻田、芋田和紅樹林中。
