  型態：此標本為民眾捐贈，無來源地，其標榜原註記為臺灣狐蝠，然其頸肩部並無臺灣狐蝠毛色有一環金黃或乳白色毛色之特徵。僅就外觀無法確認該蝙蝠之物種，僅能確認為大蝙蝠科之狐蝠。
  
  生態：大蝙蝠科之狐蝠只要分布在舊大陸熱帶地區，以植物之果實、花、花蜜、葉等為食，此類群之蝙蝠覓食飛行時無使用超音波，主要利用視力與嗅覺尋找食物。因此可以發現該類群都有著較大的眼睛與相對小的外耳殼。
