Description:This calligraphy artwork, written in running script by Wang Shu-ren, is gifted to Chou Chung-hsun (also known by his pen name “Hsiao Pai”]. It reads, “The mossy road is coated in a slight drizzle / Clouds linger afar beyond a thousand mountains / I heated the wine by burning the red maple leaves of this enchanted woods / After half a chess game I already forgot the entire world’s matters,” In the bottom margins are Wang’s words of acknowledgement seal affixation.
