Description:Ma Sen wrote this essay when the suspended Modern Literature began releasing new issues, and the first 50 issues of the magazine were reprinted, marking a significant event in the Taiwanese literary scene. During his years studying abroad in France as an international student, Ma was a member of the founding editors of the Europe Magazine, which he hoped to bring back into circulation. At its start, Europe Magazine was sponsored by the Taiwanese-in-France Student Association as its official publication. It later became an independent magazine, with all editing and publishing costs borne by the editors. Despite financial support from Kuanchi Program Service priest Chu Li-te, the magazine became inactive after nine issues. The editors are now scattered worldwide, working in politics, academia, and other fields.

摘要:本筆資料為作者記述《現代文學》雜誌前五十期重印成功，相關活動引為當時文壇盛事，有感於此，作者期望早年留法時期參與創辦、編撰的《歐洲雜誌》也能有再度面世的機會。當年《歐洲雜誌》創辦之初，曾以《留法同學會會刊》之名接受過官方機構援助，易名後改採獨立發行，參與之同人皆義務處理編務、自費出版，後期雖接受光啟社朱勵德神父的援助，仍於第九期後停刊。當時參與其中之同人們，也已星散各地，分屬政界、學界等不同領域。（文／馬思源）
