Description:Written by Wu Man-sha in the form of lüshi (7-character, 8-line rhymed verse), this calligraphy artwork, titled Tribute to the Poets of the Philippines, describes the author’s time spent with his literary friends from overseas. It reads, “Pride is the sensation when one meets a friend from afar made through literature / We have traveled ten thousand miles to gather here, so let us drink a thousand glasses in celebration / May our poems be as beautiful and last long as those written by the Tang Dynasty Poets, and our ambitions as high and bright as the clear sky / I find cordiality in your familiar accents, and I relish our intellectual conversations.” At the end of the poem is marked “First draft.”

摘要:本件藏品為作家吳漫沙墨蹟一幅，是吳漫沙所作之七言律詩，以「賦呈菲律濱諸詞長」為題，內容大抵以七言律詩的形式，講述自身與海外文友結盟共飲歡談，內容為：「因緣翰墨感殊榮，海外風騷喜結盟，萬里人來償宿願，千杯酒飲快平生，昌詩壽世三唐美，礪志擎天一柱明，諸老鄉音最親切，歡談娓娓總關懷。」文末落款並標示「初稿」。（文／歐人鳳）

其他說明:1. 吳漫沙（1912-07-15/2005-11-10），本名吳丙丁，筆名有B.S.、曉風、林靜子等。1937年自福建來台定居，曾擔任《風月報》、《南方》等雜誌編輯，戰後擔任記者。文學創作以中文書寫，文學形式廣及論述、詩、散文、小說、戲劇等，其中以婚戀小說受到歡迎，內容多描寫男女青年戀愛因家庭反對，為愛情犧牲的故事，劇情扣合當時代的社會氛圍，著有《大地之春》、《黎明之歌》、《韭菜花》等作，為日治時期著名的通俗小說家。
