作者簡介:1948年於新竹市出生。國立臺灣師範大學美術研究所碩士。專長國畫、膠彩畫及現代版畫，辦理國內外個展聯展無數次。1997年榮獲中華民國全國畫學會金爵獎。創作理念秉持女性思維、重視美感生活泉源及學識修養，追求溫文儒雅的品質與智慧相融合的有情天地。2013年自國立新竹教育大學藝術與設計系所退休。

作者英文簡介:Lu Yen-ching was born in Hsinchu in 1948. Lu holds a master's degree in Fine Arts from National Taiwan Normal University. She specializes in Chinese painting, glue painting and modern woodcuts, and has held numerous exhibitions in Taiwan and abroad. In 1997 she won a Golden Nobility Award from the Art Society of China. Her creative ideas uphold female thought, a reverence for sources of aesthetic life and the cultivation of knowledge, and the pursuit of a sentimental world blending refined quality and wisdom. In 2013 she retired from the Department of Arts and Design at the National Hsinchu University of Education.
