The gold God of Longevity, presented by the birthday celebratory team representing overseas Chinese in Cambodia on October 31, 1960, has a wooden base overlaid with red flannelette, and the entire image's clothing and sleeves, front and rear, are inscribed with characters of "longevity" (shou). The statue, holding a dragon baton, wears four-colored balls and tassels. Its left hand seems to hold something, but because the hand has broken, what was held in its hand is untraceable.
Chiang Kai-shek was 74 on October 31, 1960. He did not stay in his residence or President Office on his birthday, but went to the front line, such as Kinmen, Matsu, and other outer islands, to eschew the celebration and instead, to enhance frontline's morale.
