此套為蔣中正總統在金門太武山房使用之沙發。
蔣中正總統親臨金門前線戰地達數十次之多，蒞臨時均駐蹕於太武山旁之小屋，蔣中正總統親自命名為「太武山房」。居屋、用具、設備均甚儉樸。

This set of sofas used to be placed in Taiwu Mountain House in Kinmen and was used by the President Chiang.
President Chiang had visited with troops in frontline of Kinmen scores of times, and when he came to Kinmen, he stayed at this small house on the hillside of Taiwu. Chiang Kai-shek personally named the house as "Taiwu Mountain House." Such living room, appliances, and furniture indicate that the President led a remarkably frugal existence.
