褐色木邊相框，內裝照片為中華民國國旗插於南極探勘車上的光榮時刻。相框邊緣有詳細之說明：「我科學家張鏗於民國四十七年夏應美國國家科學院之聘，參加南極探勘工作，任地震探勘隊隊長，歷時十五個月，曾將我國旗矗立於震波測勘車上，在南極大陸到處飄揚，攝此影片寄呈總統。」

The picture, displayed in a brown wooden frame, presents a glorious moment when the flag of the Republic of China was erected on an Antarctic exploration vehicle. The detailed inscription on the frame read: "Our scientist Zhang Keng was invited in the summer of 1958 by the United States National Academy of Sciences to participate in Antarctic Exploration project and served as Captain of seismic exploration team. The project lasted for 15 months. Our flag had been erected by Zhang Keng on the seismic exploration vehicle and aflutter over Antarctic continent. Respectfully, we present this picture to President Chiang Kai-shek."
