半圓造形的吸墨用具，其下為棉紙，當蔣中正總統以毛筆書寫後，每以此輕輕觸壓，將紙面多餘之墨跡吸盡，故能保持紙面之清潔。

The semicircular ink absorber has a piece of tissue attached under it. Chiang Kai-shek used it to dry ink on the paper after finishing his writing with a brush, by lightly touch the black ink, in order to keep the paper clean.
