民國69年10月20日由鹿內信隆所贈，外以銀色紙盒包裝，內為相簿一冊，封面為箱根中正堂正面照片，照相簿內共存44張照片，全部為箱根中正堂外觀及內部陳設，無文字解說，首頁書「雕刻の森美術館 中正堂竣工記念 昭和53年4月5日」，落款「雕刻の森美術館館長 鹿內信隆」。銀色盒面有貼一紙，上款「蔣經國閣下」，下款「鹿內信隆敬贈」。
箱根中正堂的建立於1978年，當時產經新聞社連載「蔣中正總統秘錄」完成，鹿內信隆特地於箱根森林雕塑美術館開放式館園內，建成此一紀念堂，箱根森林雕塑美術館，成立於1969年8月，由鹿內信隆獨資興建。佔地廣達5萬5千平方公尺，完全依山林景致而規劃的自然景觀美術館，內有自然開放式和室內展示兩大部門；前者以雕塑品為主，後者則展覽繪畫和攝影作品。

Shikanai Nobutaka presented the article on October 20, 1980. It was packed in a silver carton, together with a photograph album with a cover displaying the Chiang Kai-shek memorial hall located in Hakone, Japan. The album includes 44 pictures showing the hall's appearance and interior furnishings, but doesn't have commentary. Its title page shows inscriptions "In commemorating the completion of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall at the Hakone Open-air Museum on April 5, Showa 53" and "Present by, Shikanai Nobutaka, Curator of the Hakone Open-air Museum." A piece of paper posted on the silver carton is inscribed the words "Your Excellency Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo" and "Presented by, Shikanai Nobutaka."

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall at the Hakone Open-air Museum was established in 1978, when Sankei Shimbun completed the publishing of the sequential installments of Chiang Kai-shek: His Life and Times in Japanese. Shikanai Nobutaka built the memorial hall in the open-air museum of sculpture forest in Hakone. The Hakone Open-air Museum was founded in August 1969 and wholly owned by Shikanai Nobutaka. The museum covers a land of 55,000 square meters and is designed by blending art galleries with the natural landscape. It includes an outdoor exhibition and an indoor exhibition. The former displays mainly sculptures, and the latter, the works of painting and photography.
