民國75年10月31日蔣中正總統百年誕辰，國立中正紀念堂管理處、中國書法學會，在教育部與行政院文化建設委員會指導下，舉辦「蔣中正總統遺訓（嘉言）書法展覽」，除邀請名家參展外，並舉辦公開競展，共收稿件三百餘件，經敦請書法名家十餘人為評審，就社會人士競展作品中選取一百件，以應百年之數。凡入選及邀請名家參展作品均由中正紀念堂典藏，共計130幅，編號自C100001至C100130。
鄭人榮書，優選，「堅持奮鬥－蔣中正總統日記」。此段為蔣中正總統在日記中所自記。全篇中重點有二，一在強調「堅持就是勝利，奮鬥就是成功」，一在以中國政治思想之傳統「是非求之於心，毀譽聽之於人，得失憑之於天」自勉。從中也可以看出蔣中正總統對信仰的重視，將宗教的信仰與儒家的天理合而為一。

On October 31, 1986, for the 100th birthday of President Chiang Kai-shek, a calligraphy exhibition called “The quotes of President Chiang Kai-shek” was held. With the guidance of the Ministry of Education, the Executive Yuan Cultural Construction Committee, the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Management Office, and the Chinese Calligraphy Society. In addition to inviting famous artists to participate in the exhibition, an open competition exhibition was held, and more than 300 manuscripts were received. After inviting more than ten calligraphy masters to be judges, one hundred works were selected from the public, in response to the 100th anniversary. All works of selected and invited artists, a total of 130 pieces, were collected by the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.
"Diary of President Chiang Kai-shek: Persevere through Struggle" written by Zheng Ren-rong, merit award. This paragraph was recorded by President Chiang Kai-shek in his diary. There are two main points in the whole article. The first is to emphasize that "persistence is victory, and struggle is success". The other is to use traditional Chinese political thoughts “know right and wrong from the heart; honor is ruined by others; the heavens decide losses and gains" to encourage oneself. It can also be seen that President Chiang Kai-shek attaches great importance to faith, and combines religious faith with Confucianism.
