東亞藝術研究會創立於1981年，以發揚中華文化藝術為職志，由徐一飛先生創立，其宗旨為「團結藝壇同道，陶冶個人品格，加強藝理研究，探討藝術技能，倡議中華道統，研究東亞藝術，弘揚固有文化，以達到藝術濟世之宗旨。」以研究傳統水墨繪畫書法為主。1992年奉內政部核准為全國性藝文化團體。
本畫由東亞藝術研究會成員蔡賢謀、王美美、張清宗、詹惠美、陳美足、陳錦華、蔡芳怜、謝玉花、何淑慎、梁美珠等10位畫家合繪而成，題字人為蔡鼎新。
畫中描繪青山羅列、雲煙縹緲，觀看方向為由右至左，右方陡峭青山下方紅頂房舍凝聚視覺焦點，彷彿藏於深山秘境中，深不可探；視線慢慢往左移動，可見前景紅樹綠葉搭配中景深森密林，營造出空間感與蓬勃的生命氣息；再往左方移動，則有山澗自山壁奔流而下，遁循河道蜿蜒流向畫面之外，使整幅畫作有無限綿延之感。

Established in 1981 by Mr. Hsu I-Fei, the East Asian Art Research Society is dedicated to promoting Chinese cultural arts. Its mission is to “unite fellow artists, cultivate personal character, enhance art theory research, explore artistic skills, advocate Chinese traditions, study East Asian art, and promote inherent culture to achieve the goal of art benefiting society.” The society primarily focuses on the study of traditional ink painting and calligraphy. In 1992, it was officially approved by the Ministry of the Interior as a national cultural and arts organization.

This painting is a collaborative work by ten members of the East Asian Art Research Society: Tsai Hsien-Mou, Wang Mei-Mei, Chang Ching-Tsung, Chan Hui-Mei, Chen Mei-Tsu, Chen Chin-Hua, Tsai Fang-Lien, Hsieh Yu-Hua, Ho Shu-Shen, and Liang Mei-Chu.

The artwork depicts a series of verdant mountains shrouded in mist, guiding the viewer’s gaze from right to left. On the right, beneath steep green peaks, red-roofed houses serve as focal points, nestled in secluded mountain retreats, evoking a sense of mystery and depth. As the eye moves leftward, the foreground reveals red trees and green foliage, complemented by dense midground forests, creating a sense of space and vibrant life. Further left, a mountain stream cascades down rocky cliffs, winding its way beyond the painting's edge, imparting a feeling of endless continuity.
