《畏天自修箴》：
不睹不聞，慎獨誠意。戰戰兢兢，莫現莫顯。
研幾窮理，體仁集義。自反守約，克己復禮。
以蔣中正總統民國39年自書之「養天自樂」、「事天自安」、「法天自強」、「畏天自修」四箴，做成瓷盤。
民國34年抗戰勝利之際，蔣中正總統自為五箴，曰養天自樂，曰知天自得，曰畏天自修，曰事天自強，曰希天自復，以為個人修養的依歸。民國39年，即政府遷台之次年，黨國面臨改造求新的關鍵，個人面臨復行視事的重責，蔣中正總統在10月25日，台灣光復5週年當日，個人六秩晉四生日前6天，將其五年前所作五箴修訂為「養天自樂」、「事天自安」、「法天自強」、「畏天自修」四箴，親筆書寫，做為對自己的惕勵。

Be cautious about sight unseen; be apprehensive of sounds unheard / Be vigilant over oneself and sincere when in solitude Be extremely mindful of one's steps, fearful of making mistakes / Secret things are more visible, and minute details more manifest
Quest exhaustively for knowledge and inquiry thoroughly into truth / Be benevolent and accumulating righteous deeds Carry out self-examination and uphold principles / Subdue one's self and return to propriety
The porcelain plates are inscribed with Chiang Kai-shek's four mottoes panned in 1950, including "Achieving Longevity by Nurturing Self-fulfillment," "Self-settling by Honoring One's Nature to Serve Heaven," "Self-empowering by Following the Way of Heaven," and "Self-cultivating by Standing in Awe of Heaven."
In 1945, during the occasion of the Victory over Japan, Chiang Kai-shek wrote five mottoes for setting personal goal of accomplishment for carrying out self-cultivation, including "Achieving Longevity by Nurturing Self-fulfillment," "Getting Hold of Learning as in Oneself by Knowing Heaven," "Self-cultivating by Standing in Awe of Heaven," "Self-empowering by Following the Way of Heaven," and "Self-recovering by Admiring Heaven." In 1950, the second year after relocation of the central government to Taiwan, Nationalist party and the state had faced critical issues of transformation and innovation, and so did Chiang Kai-shek, he was faced with the major responsibilities of re-assumed duties as President of the Republic of China. On October 25, the fifth anniversary of Retrocession Day, six days before his 64th birthday, Chiang Kai-shek revised the five mottoes made five years ago into four mottoes: "Achieving Longevity by Nurturing Self-fulfillment," "Self-settling by Honoring One's Nature to Serve Heaven," "Self-empowering by Following the Way of Heaven," and "Self-cultivating by Standing in Awe of Heaven." He handwrote them to remain vigilant.
