Chiang Kai-shek's Memoirs of Mother consists of an Inscription on Temple Stele at Chiang Jinzi Garden, Epitaph on Chiang Suan's Grave, Monument of the Centenary of Deceased Mother Madame Chiang, née Wang's Birth, article of Dedication to the Service of the Country and Remembrances of Mother, Epitaph on Chiang's Mother Madame Chiang's Grave, and Chiang's Mother Madame Chiang's Memorial Address by President Sun Yat-sen. These pieces of writings have been inscribed on steles embedded in wooden frames and stored in the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to commemorate forever.
Chiang Jinzi was Chiang Yanzhao (courtesy name Chunming) of the Song dynasty and served as Jinzi Household Counsellor (adviser to imperial court).
Quan Zuwang (courtesy name Xieshan), a master of Zhedong School of thought in the Qing dynasty, had written the Inscription on Temple Stele erected at Chiang Jinzi Garden. In 1946, Chiang Kai-shek, as a descendant of Chiang Jinzi, commissioned Wu Zhihui (Jingheng) to replicate Xieshan's inscription, and the script was inscribed on ten stone slabs. In October 31, 1977, Chiang Ching-kuo, to commemorate his mother, reproduced Wu's script and inscribed it on a stele erected at Chihu.
