此物件分為2部分，將直條畫作與橫幅畫作區隔開，各50幅，分別以中國式畫篋精裝布面錦盒裝載，錦盒內部以鮮黃色緞面襯底，總共100幅，均為蔣夫人宋美齡女士的畫作。
蔣夫人曾隨黃君璧與藍蔭鼎習國畫，善長山水花鳥，尤喜好蘭竹，經訪談蔣中正總統侍從人員，告以夫人作畫時偶而蔣中正總統會駐足觀賞，有時會為之題字。

This article has two parts, paintings in horizontal scrolls and in vertical scrolls. Each part has 50 paintings packaged in a Chinese painting chest with brocade binding and the inside overlaid with bright yellow satin, totaling 100 works by Madame Chiang, née Soong May-ling.
Madame Chiang had learned traditional Chinese painting from both Huang Junbi and Lan Yinding, was good at painting of landscape, floral, and birds, and loved drawing orchid and bamboo. According to attendants, Chiang Kai-shek would occasionally stand feasting his eyes or sometimes inscribed words on the painting, while Madame Chiang was brushing.
