民國12年3月2日大元帥大本營正式成立於廣州，十七日任命蔣中正總統為大本營參謀長。5月9日陳炯明據東江復叛；月底先生偕蔣中正總統親臨敵前，破其部於廣州。此照為7月間蔣中正總統隨侍國父至韶關籌畫北伐軍事，在廣州車站所攝。

On July 6, 1923, Sun Yat-sen, the Father of the Nation pictured with Chiang Kai-shek (then Chief Staff of Generalissimo's Field Headquarters) at Guangzhou station, before they set out for Shaoguan to plan and prepare Northern Expedition there.
On March 2, 1923, Generalissimo's Supreme Headquarters was established in Guangzhou, and on March 17, Chiang Kai-shek was appointed as Chief Staff of Generalissimo's Supreme Headquarters. On May 9, Chen Jiongming took over the Dong River area and rebelled the second time. By the end of the May, Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai-shek visited the front line, and their troops defeated Chen's forces in Guangzhou. The picture was took in July at Guangzhou station, when Chiang Kai-shek was escorting Sun Yat-sen and they set out for Shaoguan to plan and prepare Northern Expedition there.
