蔣中正總統戴帽戎裝照，無上款，下款為「民國四十年辛卯秋日郎靜山恭攝」，木質相框裝，上貼有一紙「民國90年10月31日中華粥會致贈」，該日為蔣中正總統115歲冥誕。
中華粥會是由吳稚暉先生與于右任先生所創辦，會員多是黨國元老的長者與書畫藝術家，吳稚暉一生不做官，寧可教書當編輯，有時窮得無米下鍋便掛單賣字，以維持他每天「兩粥一飯，小葷大素」的自我生活規定。1924年，他發起成立了「中華粥會」。
郎靜山，出生於清末民初，十二歲初習攝影，曾是中國最早的攝影記者，以畫意集錦照相享譽國際的第一人，畢生以推動中華文化為己任。

This picture shows Chiang Kai-shek dressed in military uniform and only sender's inscriptions "photographed by Lang Ching-shan on xin-mao day, in the autumn of 1951," with no recipient inscriptions. It is mounted on a wooden frame, on which an inscription "Present by Chinese Congee Association, October 31, 2001" is posted. The day marked the 105th anniversary of the birth of Chiang Kai-shek.

Chinese Congee Association was founded by Wu Zhihui and Yu Youjen, and most of its members were party elders and calligraphy artists. Wu Zhihui in his whole life declined to take any official position and would rather be a teacher or an editor. Sometimes he was so poor that he ran out of rice and had to sell his handwriting. He maintained self-regulated daily life "to take in only two meals of congee and one meal of rice, and a lot of vegetables, but small quantity of meats." He initiated and founded the Chinese Congee Association in 1924.

Lang Chingshan, one of the first Chinese photojournalists, was born in the sunset of the Qing dynasty and learned photography at the age of 12. He won international fame for his unique composite photography technique. His lifelong mission was to promote Chinese culture.
