民國75年10月31日蔣中正總統百年誕辰，國立中正紀念堂管理處、中國書法學會，在教育部與行政院文化建設委員會指導下，舉辦「蔣中正總統遺訓（嘉言）書法展覽」，除邀請名家參展外，並舉辦公開競展，共收稿件三百餘件，經敦請書法名家十餘人為評審，就社會人士競展作品中選取一百件，以應百年之數。凡入選及邀請名家參展作品均由中正紀念堂典藏，共計130幅，編號自C100001至C100130。
李鍊珠書，佳作，「存養省察」。此為蔣中正總統對於存養省察之道的發揮，以個人內心存天理而去人欲，不為外力所誘，來說明定、靜的工夫，其實就是自我的修養。蔣中正總統對於「定、靜」的工夫有獨到的修為，其每日靜坐、讀書，愈是在軍馬倥傯之際，愈是重視自己的自律自修，正是這種修為的表現。

On October 31, 1986, for the 100th birthday of President Chiang Kai-shek, a calligraphy exhibition called “The quotes of President Chiang Kai-shek” was held. With the guidance of the Ministry of Education, the Executive Yuan Cultural Construction Committee, the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Management Office, and the Chinese Calligraphy Society. In addition to inviting famous artists to participate in the exhibition, an open competition exhibition was held, and more than 300 manuscripts were received. After inviting more than ten calligraphy masters to be judges, one hundred works were selected from the public, in response to the 100th anniversary. All works of selected and invited artists, a total of 130 pieces, were collected by the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall.
"Inspection of the Preservation and Maintenance of the spirit" written by Li Lian-zhu, honorable mention. This is President Chiang Kai-shek’s method of preservation and inspection of the spirit. He uses his will power to preserve the principles of nature and resist human desires. External forces cannot tempt him, which explains that the power of calm and quiet is in fact self-cultivation. President Chiang Kai-shek has cultivated a unique skill for "calm and quiet". He sits and reads every day, paying more attention to his self-study and discipline while doing nothing. This is precisely the manifestation of the skill that he has cultivated.
