蔣中正總統對於地圖學極有研究，對於世界輿圖同樣重視，在其辦公室經常懸掛地圖。此幅航空圖為北半球航空圖，航空航線多半以北半球為主軸，在軍事上講求快速，北極圈為航線最優良的考量，而此航空圖囊括北半球歐、亞、美及北極圈，是最為清楚之航空地圖。

Chiang Kai-shek had intense study of cartography and paid attention to the maps of the world; therefore, he often hung maps in his office. This is an aeronautical chart of the northern hemisphere, covering most of flight charts in the area. Military is particular about quickness, and Arctic air routes were considered the best; therefore, this aeronautical chart, covering Europe, Asia, America, and the Arctic Circle in the northern hemisphere, was one of the most clearest aerial maps.
