Description:This calligraphy artwork features a eulogy titled Tune of Golden Threads by Hsieh Chun-an as a gift to the married couple Tsui Yu-ming and Chang Shu-han. In it, the author compares Tsui and Chang to allusive scholarly couples in classic Chinese literature, eulogizing Chang’s literary achievements. The text reads, “The heroine is said to be a gifted scholar / How many times has she manifested the wind and rain with her powerful pens? / Nuggets of gold, pearls, and inscriptions are all over the bells / But the writings from the Wu State to the Chu State are long gone / I remember Fang Yao from three ages ago / You inherit the legacy of the Tongcheng school / And today, I receive news of your holy matrimony / Just as the Book of Odes describes: “Gentle maiden, pure and fair, fit pair for a prince / May you be each other’s one and only, your love in perfect harmony” / Like the old virtues set out by Mencius of Liang / Or the kingly ways described in the Book of Odes/ I am once again reminded of the sages’ thoughts from generations past.” Chang is originally from Tongcheng County, Anhui Province, and her maternal grandfather is Ma Q-ichang, one of the last writers of the Tongcheng school, which explains the line “You inherit the legacy of the Tongcheng school.” From the inscriptions “Tune of Golden Threads” and “In celebration of Miss Shu-hang’s marriage,” it can be inferred that this piece was specifically created as a gift for Chang’s wedding. In the margins are the calligrapher’s signature and seal affixation, and three inscriptions that read, “Mister Yu-ming,” “To Master for your esteemed opinion,” and “Your old friend Hsieh Chun-an.”

摘要:本件藏品是書法家謝宗安贈與張漱菡崔右明夫妻之文章墨蹟。文章內容以中國古典才子佳人典故比擬張漱菡夫妻，尤其稱頌張漱菡的文學成就，內容為：「巾幗稱才子自咏絮吾宗去淡如君有幾試看揮毫生風雨的礫珠璣滿帋鍾靈秀吳頭楚尾季世文章嗟久廢憶方姚（謂望溪姬傳二先生）一別過三紀桐城派唯君起。泥金忽報于歸喜正詩云窈窕淑女好逑君子鰈鰈鶼鶼差可擬琹協瑟調也似比梁孟庶幾近矣古道閨門觀王化信關雎列在葩經始聖人意可知耳。」其中「桐城派唯君起」一句，乃因張漱菡原籍中國安徽桐城縣，外祖父為桐城派晚期作家馬其昶。左下角落款處題有「金縷曲敬賀」，以及「漱菡女士于歸之喜并煩轉塵」等，判斷此藏品應為祝賀張漱菡出嫁而作。另有「右明先生」、「方家兩正」「鄉友謝宗安」等題字，以及「謝宗安」鈐印。（文／高維志）

其他說明:1.謝宗安（1905-09-21/1997-02-28）字鍾厂，生於中國安徽東至縣。精研篆隸及六朝碑體，尤其對石鼓文、石門頌及石門銘，最具心得，因自號三石老人，又號磊翁。
2.〈金縷曲〉為詞牌，原名〈賀新郎〉。（文／高維志）
