藏品描述：葉、卷鬚、枝條及果實均可被害。初期為白色圓斑，上有粉末，末期滿佈全葉成暗灰色，如灰塵沾污一般，病葉極易脫落。被害枝條，形成黑褐色焦斑，影響枝條飽滿度。果實初生白粉，末期發育停止，長大後裂果。
Powdery mildew is a fungal disease that affects a wide range of plants. Infected grapes display white powdery spots on the leaves and stems. The lower leaves are the most affected, the spots get larger and denser as large numbers of spores are formed, and the mildew may spread up and down the length of the plant. The resulting disease can significantly reduce grape yields.
