藏品描述：病原菌感染柿樹葉片與枝條。前者感染新葉片時產生褐色圓形病斑，後者發生於夏秋季，於葉片形成擴展性輪紋病斑，病斑深褐色，病葉易碎。
Leaf blight and fruit rot of sweet persimmon caused by Pestalotia diospyri are observed during the growing season and post harvest. Typical symptoms on leaves develop with small brown spots and are later reddish brown colors.
The main diagnostic symptom is ring spot on the leaves and calyxes of young fruits; in severe cases, lesions develop on more than half of the area of the leaf, resulting in early defoliation.
