藏品描述:灰黴病是萵苣上常見的重大病害,除危害萵苣外,還可危害番茄、茄子、辣椒、黃瓜、瓠瓜等20多種蔬菜及其他農作物。低溫、連續陰雨天氣多時危害嚴重,常造成莖葉枯死,直接影響產量。主要為害莖和葉片,在葉片上初於葉尖或葉緣生褐色不規則形病斑,擴大後成黑褐色濕腐不規則大斑,或連接莖的被害部分,從葉柄開始,沿葉柄向前擴展,形成深褐色斑。莖上病斑初呈淡褐色水浸狀,後期擴大後形成褐腐,最後整株逐步乾枯死亡。潮濕時病部表面上產生白色後灰色黴層。

Gray mold results to the loss of lettuce crops throughout the world every year. It is caused by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. The occurrence of gray mold is most prevalent during cold season from February to April. B. cinerea can survive on plant debris, as secondary inoculum on numerous crops and weed hosts, and as sclerotia in soil. Airborne conidia rapidly germinate and colonize target tissue and damaged lettuce stems and older leaves. Initially, the infected area appears to be water soaked, and as the infection progresses the lesion color changes from brown to gray. The disease can spread from the leaves to the stem and, affected areas rapidly turn soft and rotten. On the other hand, the gray fuzzy mycelium that is usually seen on gray mold infected plants may not always be present on lettuce.
